It’s national oatmeal day! Here’s one of my favourites from the archives. Everyone have a fun and safe Halloween!!
Here I go again with the chocolate, peanut butter and banana combination’s. If you can’t tell by now it’s a mild addiction.
If you are trying to stay healthy like I am but can’t beat the chocolate cravings, try this oatmeal for breakfast. It has all the satisfaction as a chocolate bar but a lot less guilt. It’s also really filling!
1 cup skim milk
½ cup old fashioned oats
4 Tsp. cocoa powder
1 Tsp. peanut butter
1 banana, mashed
2 Tsp. brown sugar
In a medium saucepan combine milk and oats. Bring to a boil.
Stir in cocoa powder, peanut butter, banana and brown sugar. Cook for 5 minutes stirring constantly.
